Murder Charge Over Primrose Hill Stabbing
Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old man, was discovered with fatal knife wounds near the scenic viewing spot in Primrose Hill on Tuesday. The Metropolitan Police have since charged Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, from Southbury Road, Enfield, with murder. Ogunyankinnu was arrested on Friday and formally accused of the crime on Sunday. He is set to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A 25-year-old individual was detained on suspicion of supporting the accused but has since been released without charges. The investigation remains active as authorities collect more evidence. Sullivan, who studied film at the London Screen Academy, had recently moved to north London. His father, Chris Sullivan, 65, spoke to BBC London about losing his only son, known to loved ones as Fin. “All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. This is why it’s so tragic,” he said.
