Essex Police have confirmed that a 19-year-old woman, identified as Jamie-Lea Biscoe, died after being attacked by a dog at her residence. The incident occurred at Long Hide, located in the village of Leaden Roding, close to Dunmow, at 22:45 BST on Friday. Emergency responders found her with severe injuries and declared her dead on-site, despite urgent medical interventions.
Arrest and Scene Secure
A 37-year-old man from Dunmow was taken into custody on suspicion of allowing his dog to act dangerously out of control, resulting in a fatal injury. The canine was seized by authorities, and specialists ensured the area was safe for further investigation. A police cordon was still in place at the property on Sunday.
